The gentle rocking motion of the boat was hypnotic, and the steady rhythm of the waves was soothing. Sarah watched the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues of orange and purple. She felt utterly unburdened. The vastness of the ocean always did that to her.

She glanced at her messages. A Facebook post. A copycat recipe. A recipe for her famous fish stew, which she had spent years perfecting, was now being promoted by a chain restaurant. She sighed, a small, barely audible sound, and turned back to the sunset. The view was much more interesting.
